Warranty Policy

At Plate Vision, we take great pride in offering high-quality custom number plates designed to meet your specific requirements. We recognise that there may be situations requiring a replacement, which is why we provide a complimentary one-year warranty with every number plate order.

1. Eligibility for Warranty:
   1.1. Delamination of the reflective backing.
   1.2. Water Damage: Instances of water infiltration causing harm to the acrylic or reflective vinyl.
   1.3. 4D and Gel characters are covered should they lose adhesion.
   1.4. Warping or bending of the plate’s acrylic material.

2. Non-Eligibility for Warranty:
   2.1. Wear and Tear: Our warranty does not cover standard wear and tear, which includes scratches and chips incurred through normal road usage.
   2.2. Accidental Damage: The warranty does not extend to damage resulting from accidents caused by the customer.
   2.3. Theft: Our warranty does not provide replacements if your plates are stolen.
   2.4. Lost Plates: The warranty does not cover scenarios where plates fall off vehicles due to inadequate installation.
   2.5. Drilled Plates: If plates have been drilled or screwed into, which can permit water infiltration, the warranty is void. This often leads to water damage or delamination of the vinyl, regardless of whether the issue falls under the criteria stated in Section 1.

3. Warranty Procedure:

   3.2. Provide Evidence: You may be asked to submit clear photographic evidence detailing any quality issues, damage, or discrepancies with your number plates.
   3.3. Return of Merchandise: In some instances, we may require the return of the number plates for inspection and will provide guidance on the return process.
   3.4. Processing Time: Upon receiving the necessary evidence and/or the returned merchandise (if applicable), we will evaluate your case. The warranty process will be initiated the same day approval is granted.
